Rotation 8 — Character Design

The theme I chose was winter. For me, winter is cold, so the color of my character design is mainly blue. The character is a future new human. In the future, humans cannot withstand the cold due to evolution, so humans modify their bodies in order to adapt to the climate. The arms are machines for their own safety. The legs are liquid and act as a counterbalance to the outside temperature.

This is my first character design. During the drawing process, I referred to Minkyu Lee’s works and collected a large number of “machine” photos, and finally completed the design. However, my final work also has some shortcomings, my overall color is too single, the clothes are very simple. In the following study, I will make further adjustments and modifications.
