Visual Narrative–3D Retro device–development–render–final animation


















For the first rendering, I used maya mapping with a theme colour of solid wood reddish brown as well as pale yellow. The whole is the same colour and the pattern is sculpted in zbrush. However, the overall effect was too homogeneous, so I did a second rendering in Substance Painter. Finally, the textures and normals were imported into Maya.
